Commercial- Professional interior & exterior cleaning of all your building, office, or business windows. Bi-weekly or monthly contracts available. Window Cleaning Process
– Step 1 – Screen removal – What we do first is remove the window screen if it has one. This gives us to have access to the window and the track that the screen rests inside of for cleaning.
– Step 2 – Brushing the frame – Once the screen is removed, we are granted access to the window. Brushing the frame ensures that all cobwebs, bugs and loose dirt are removed thoroughly from the frame.
– Step 3 – Pre-soaking the window – After the major debris has been removed, we use our microfiber scrubber together with our environmentally safe detergent to pre-soak the window. This allows hardened grime a few moments to absorb the soap and free itself from the window.
– Step 4 – Razor scraping the window – Razoring the window helps us to remove all grime, debris, mold, tape and other hardened materials that are hard to get rid of during a regular cleaning. We use only the finest razors and scrapers made specifically for professional window cleaners. (PLEASE NOTE that not all window can be safely scraped.)
– Step 5 – Scrubbing the window – After your window is prepped and all the large hardened grime and debris is removed, we, again, scrub your window with our scrubber and our detergent.
– Step 6- Squeegee the window – After making sure your window has been thoroughly prepped and scrubbed, we then use our squeegees to squeegee off all remaining soap and water, using the swivel or “fan” method. We use many different squeegees in all different sizes.
– Step 7- Detailing the Window – The completing step in the window cleaning process is to detail the window by using microfiber clothes to go over all edges and other spots the need a finishing touch. This gives the window a nice, new, clean look to it that your neighbors are sure to be envious of.
Note – Leaded Glass and real French Pane windows need to be cleaned in a different way, and are priced accordingly.
French pane windows are those small glass panes that are grouped together into one or more larger windows. On many newer homes, these are not actual French panes, but are in fact a regular one-piece window pane with a plastic or wood grid placed over it to create the illusion of a real French Pane window. These windows need to be done one at a time and require special attention, so as not to leave water behind the grid that can then come out later and streak the window. Real French Pane windows are usually quite delicate and also require special attention – especially if they are of the Leaded Glass type windows.
French Pane and simulated French pane windows are priced accordingly due to the special nature and degree of difficulty in properly cleaning them.
